Getting Started
To start the game, click the “Start Game” button. You will see a word centered on the screen, type this word exactly as it appears.
Scoring Rules
- You score points based on word length, your current combo (if you have a combo), and how well you complete each level and reach the level’s goal.
- To get a combo, you must have completed three words in a row correctly and each bonus will increase with each correct word completed.
- You will progress through to each level when you have reached the number of words you need to complete for that level.
Accuracy and WPM
Accuracy is calculated based upon the total number of characters typed, divided by the total number of correctly typed characters. Your wpm is automatically computed while typing, but is based on your overall performance as it relates to time (total words typed).
Controls
- Pause/Resume - press the pause button to pause the game.
- Reset- press the restart button to start the game from scratch.
Tips
Build combos through accuracy first. Speed typing will develop naturally after you have developed consistency through practice.
